Hyunpill Shin who is born and raised in Seoul, Korea, has always played music through different instrument since at the age of four. In love with the comforting sounds of saxophone, he entered the Berklee College of Music majoring Composition and Performance after studying classical composition in Korea. 

    In 2010, he debut after winning 'The Soloist of the Year' prize at Jarasum Jazz Festival in Korea. He issued two solo album, [NU-STREAM (Sony)] in 2012 and [Ordinary Days (KT)] in 2014 with warm response from audience and critics.     Not only jazz but also he has been expand musical journey with touring the world wih the most well-known K-pop stars, Korean traditional musicians. Recently he issued [MILAAP; Come Together] with San Francisco based tabla player 'Vishal Nagar' and New Delhi based sarangi player 'Suhail Yusuf Khan' as a member of 'Hauz Khas Connection'. 

    As a music director of the film and art, he composed and arranged commercial movie 'GRAND FATHER (2015)' and collaborating with various art form.
